The Training Specialis III should be familiar with the U.S. Army’s curriculum development process and requirements. The Training Specialist III will draft training plans after conducting needs assessment analysis. The Training Specialist III will then collaborate with the Training Manager and other specialists the creation of training programs, classes, and workshops to be utilized by IT professionals and other team members across the AMP program. The Training Specialist III should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, resolving complex problems if and when they arise. Collaboration with the various Agile Teams will be a common aspect of the position, and the Training Specialist III should be comfortable with data sharing and information sharing both across teams and with upper-level managers, such as the Training Manager, Configuration Manager, and Program Manager. As a senior specialist, mentorship of junior staff-members will also be an element of this position, and the Training Specialist III should be willing to collaborate and coach team members across the AMP program.
