Nakupuna Solutions seeks a Strategic Insights Analyst to support the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD). The position translates complex programmatic, technical, operational, and stakeholder information into clear strategic communications and data-driven visual products for leadership. The role integrates strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and visualization to strengthen decision-making, situational awareness, and alignment around U.S. global health priorities.

The Analyst will work across GHSD offices and with external partners to gather requirements, synthesize information, and produce concise, executive-ready communications and visual decision-support products within established data and reporting environments.

The Strategic Insights Analyst will integrate communications, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and visualization to support leadership decision-making and external engagement.

• Develop strategic communication and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Bureau priorities, including target audiences, key messages, communication channels, and engagement approaches.
• Prepare executive-ready briefs, talking points, presentations, summaries, and other materials for senior leadership, interagency meetings, and high-visibility engagements.
• Coordinate with technical, programmatic, policy, and operational teams to gather requirements and synthesize complex information into clear, accurate communication and analytical products.
• Identify stakeholder dynamics, communication risks, emerging issues, and opportunities; track engagements and recommend actions to strengthen alignment and follow-through.
• Analyze programmatic and operational data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and performance insights for leadership.
• Design and maintain dashboards, KPI trackers, interactive visualizations, process graphics, and other data-driven decision-support products using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Excel, or comparable tools.
• Apply data quality, reporting, documentation, and visualization best practices to improve the accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and usability of products.
• Support process improvement and change-management efforts by visualizing workflows, assessing product effectiveness, documenting lessons learned, and recommending refinements.

Deliverables:

• Strategic communication plans, messaging frameworks, and stakeholder engagement materials aligned with Bureau and leadership priorities
• Executive-ready briefings, talking points, presentations, fact sheets, summaries, and other communication products for internal and external engagements
• Dashboards, KPI trackers, interactive data visualizations, process graphics, and other visual products that translate complex programmatic and operational information into actionable insights
• Stakeholder maps and engagement trackers documenting key interactions, follow-up actions, emerging issues, risks, and opportunities
• Analytical reports and visual summaries identifying trends, performance issues, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for leadership consideration
• Data visualization and reporting guidance, templates, and documentation that promote consistency, accuracy, and usability across products
• Assessments of communication, stakeholder engagement, and visualization effectiveness, with recommendations for improvement
• Regular progress reports and a final summary report documenting accomplishments, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations

Skills/Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear strategic communications and visual decision-support products in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

• Strong strategic communication, executive writing, editing, and briefing-development skills, with experience supporting senior leadership and high-visibility engagements.
• Experience developing communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies, including stakeholder mapping, relationship management, and engagement tracking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of programmatic and technical information, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate actionable insights.
• Demonstrated proficiency with one or more enterprise data visualization or reporting platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or comparable tools, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPI trackers, interactive visualizations, process graphics, or other data-driven products for decision-makers.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating discussions, and translating stakeholder needs into practical communication, analytical, and visualization products.
• Working knowledge of data quality, reporting standards, and documentation practices; familiarity with data modeling or reporting infrastructure preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail, professional judgment, and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 required; experience with design tools, process improvement or change management, and U.S. Government, global health, or international affairs programs preferred.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Data Analytics, Information Design, Public Administration, Business, International Affairs, Public Health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and visualization, business intelligence, or related program support

Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders in a complex government, consulting, international development, or similarly mission-driven environment

Demonstrated experience producing both strategic communication products and data-driven visual or analytical decision-support products for diverse stakeholder audiences

Work Schedule and Location: Position is full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) in Washington, DC.

Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel required, including travel to meetings, conferences, and multilateral engagements.

Clearance Requirements: Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $98,500 to $116,000 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies' total compensation package for employees.
