Overview

Nakupuna Services is seeking to hire a DMLSS Analyst Lead to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) Support contract. This position provides senior functional and analytical leadership supporting DMLSS Facilities Management (DMLSS-FM) operations and enterprise sustainment activities across the DHA Facilities Enterprise (DHA-FE). The DMLSS Analyst Lead serves as the primary subject matter expert for DMLSS system functionality, data integrity, and business process alignment while coordinating analytical support provided by regional DMLSS Analysts assigned by Area of Responsibility (AOR). 

This role works closely with the Program Manager, Technical Managers, AOR Managers, DHA stakeholders, and installation-level users to support enterprise system operations, data quality oversight, reporting requirements, and process improvements. The position ensures standardized implementation of DMLSS-FM processes, supports analysis of system data and operational workflows, and assists in aligning DHA facilities management requirements with DMLSS capabilities. The DMLSS Analyst Lead also provides guidance, coordination, and quality oversight to the analyst team to ensure consistent service delivery across the enterprise. 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in project management, especially within infrastructure and environmental services. Key qualifications include:  

  • Demonstrated expertise in Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support – Facilities Management (DMLSS-FM) or related CAFM/CMMS systems. 
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, BI/BCS, SQL. 
  • Strong history of growth and development in analytic tools and software, often self taught. 
  • Strong understanding of facilities management business processes, asset management, work order management, and preventive maintenance tracking. 
  • Experience analyzing enterprise system data and translating findings into actionable operational recommendations. 
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate analytical work performed by distributed team members supporting multiple regions. 
  • Strong knowledge of data validation, reporting, and system usage best practices. 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience working within federal programs or Department of Defense environments preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support enterprise-level program activities in a structured environment. 

Qualifications

Education: 

 

Level I Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Logistics, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered. 

 

Location: Remote 

 

Clearance Requirements:  

 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) investigation  
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). 
  • Must comply with all installation access and security requirements. 

 

Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements. 

 

  • Sit for extended periods while working at a computer. 
  • Perform repetitive hand and finger movements. 
  • Walk short distances within medical facilities. 
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. 
  • Maintain focus on detailed data entry and system review tasks. 
  • Work in a low-noise office environment within a healthcare facility.
