Overview

Nakupuna Prime is looking for a Management Analyst to support a DoW Field Activity reporting to OUSW(R&E) at Ft. Belvoir. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in process optimization and managing Front Office operations.

Responsibilities

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

  • Manage Front Office operations, to include providing meeting support and action item tracking, managing and tracking the FY25 Operations Plan, developing a deliverable tracker, and ensuring priority alignment and task management.
  • Support strategy and SOP development for office processes, to include for correspondence, policy, and task management.
  • Provide daily read-ahead information for the organization’s senior personnel, detailing meetings and associated read-ahead materials, prior to the end of duty day.
  • Perform duties as assigned, to include supporting correspondence tasks, managing calendars and schedules, and supporting meeting and event execution from start to finish.
  • Coordinate official travel requests for senior officials, ensuring full compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Prepare travel authorizations and vouchers with the Defense Travel System (DTS). Maintain accurate travel records and resolve any travel-related discrepancies.
  • Support team in the preparation, review, and answering of correspondence, to include creating correspondence templates in accordance with DoW and Executive Secretary guidance.
  • Assist in high-priority, short-fuse projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of senior leaders.
  • Plan and document meetings, to include providing reports, briefing materials and tracking actions. 

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience coordinating government travel, including knowledge of DTS and JTR.
  • Experience preferred with systems such as Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS).
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, problem solve, and adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that foster teamwork and positive relationships.
  • Working knowledge of coordination, template, and formatting requirements for preparation and approval of reports and briefings.

Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of DoW experience.

 

Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

 

Work Location: Onsite at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.

 

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
