Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Public Affairs and Social Media Analyst to assist our customer – the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Public Affairs (PA) Office – in managing and improving their current Marketing and Social Media efforts. This includes helping the PA team manage DPAA’s public posts to the dpaa.mil website and other social media platforms as well as creating content for mass publications. The Public Affairs and Social Media Analyst may also recommend ways to improve DPAA’s existing marketing and social media efforts by assisting DPAA PA staff with web content workflow analysis and redesign. The candidate may work with an existing team of Salesforce Developers to implement new improvements.

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as well as a minimum of (3) three years of relevant professional experience. Equivalent years of related work or military experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.
Clearance Requirements: Must currently have at least a Secret level security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: This opportunity is in Arlington, VA and requires five (5) days per week on-site. Travel to Honolulu, HI may be required approximately one week per year. This position may require working outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet occasional operational or project demands.
