Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Mid Logistician to provide general integrated product support (IPS) to PMS-317, who is responsible for a portfolio of weapon systems and capabilities under PEO Ships. The ideal candidate has significant experience with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Supply Support

  • Collect material demand data and report to 317L
  • Support LCU 1700 Class COSAL development
  • LCU 1700 Class Critical Material Review - Corrective Actions
  • Utilize One Touch Support for supply system data Collection and provide to Government personnel
  • Coordinate establishment of material requirements to support craft while located at Panama CIty
  • Coordinate shipment of material between Fleet Units and Panama City
  • Collect data for updates for logistics products (Tech Manuals, PMS, etc) when maintenance actions are conducted

Financial Management

  • Manage execution of funds for material procurement in support of LCU 1700 Class operations
  • Report execution of assigned funds on a monthly basis
  • Review Monthly Financial Status Reports and provide recommendations

Program-Level

  • Draft PSMT slides for assigned Agenda Topics
  • Review and Provide Comment on PSMT Agendas, Actions, Minutes
  • Draft and update tracking/status reports for logistics product development efforts

Post-Delivery

  • Assist supply officer with PD SCN funds management
  • Purchase parts through R Supply, coordinate open purchases from OEM utilizing PD SCN dollars prior to OWLD
  • Maintain a logistician log identifying missing APLs and NIINs
  • Purchase required GFE and GFM to support PSAs
  • Manage PD SCN funds at the unit
  • Manage TAC code for parts shipping between ACU 1, Panama City and Austal

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) in a supply chain or logistics discipline (preferred).
  • Relevant experience related to acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in integrated logistics support

Location:San Diego, California

 

Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a government-issued CAC and possess a Secret clearance.

 

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
