Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This position will support the Department of the Navy, Enterprise Systems & Services Office (PMW 250) and the Naval Safety Center’s (NAVSAFECEN) efforts for Risk Management Information (RMI). This individual will work with a team delivering an application capable of capturing safety data and supporting the full lifecycle of risk mitigation practices. The RMI initiative consists of four capability areas established to improve safety processes and automated support for those processes. This position is remote work.

• Develop feedbacks to support implementation of the applications, sustainment, and the AF requirements as feedbacks are assigned
• Work alongside the Air Force on software upgrades and additions
• Support Training team in the development of training materials
• Provide support to Help Desk team when necessary
• Assist and mentor more junior Software Engineers

Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Must have 5+ years work experience.

Certification Requirements: Must have a current COMPTIA Security+ CE or Network + certification.

DoD System Access: Clearance not required, however candidate must be able to qualify for and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 3 (T3) background investigation including an FBI fingerprint check. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000.00 to $145,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
