Overview

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist II. The Logistics Support Specialist II is tasked with the responsibility of managing the inventory of all network branch and Government equipment at C5ISR facilities, warehouses, and offices. This includes maintaining organizational property records, conducting comprehensive inventories, coordinating the movement of property, and ensuring adherence to property management policies and regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate accountability of assets.

Responsibilities

Property Management:

  • Maintain property records and databases; ensure tracking of receipts and equipment.
  • Process property transactions
  • Conduct physical inventories
  • Identify property requirements; assist in management of network branch storage location.
  • Manage equipment transfers and property disposal.
  • Monitor property lifecycle and reconcile property records.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Ensure all equipment is entered in the Center Operations Support System database, such as ASTS, in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Conduct inventory of 10% of equipment monthly in the Command Reporting Operations Support System (CROSS) or equivalent system.
  • Ensure there is 100% accountability for all equipment managed under the network branch annually in the current property system.
  • Process property paperwork, inventory reports, and property transfers.
  • Track warranty information and audit records for completeness.

Coordination and Support:

  • Utilize forklifts or other vehicles to provide logistics support.
  • Manage property storage and support audits of it.
  • Support procurement activities and property inquiries.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in property management
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS)
    • Property Management Certification
    • Asset Management Professional
    • Government Property Management Certification
    • Inventory Management Certification

Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $92,000.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
