Nakupuna Consulting is seeking an experienced Agility Automation Engineer to support the automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) efforts critical to large-scale ERP modernization initiatives for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and Navy clients. This role will drive the development and implementation of agile automation pipelines, test frameworks, and DevSecOps practices that accelerate delivery, improve system reliability, and support mission-critical transformation efforts across Navy enterprise systems.

• Jira Administration and workflow automation scripting experience with groovy or jira plugin like CPrime powerscripts
• Setting up boards and filters
• Creating custom workflow automation
• Creating custom metrics or charts with scripts
• Confluence and Jira Automation Experience
• Setting up dynamic Confluence Dashboards with information from Jira
• Configuration and administration of Plugins: Agile Hive
• Coordinate training and mentoring (or providing themselves) experience for Jira, Confluence, Agile Hive
• Create and Maintain Jira, Confluence self-paced training materials in Confluence
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework
• Familiarity with Agile Hive setup and admin
• Experience working on an agile team
• Familiarity with Tasktop Hub model creation
• Preferred:
• Experience with Agile Hive administration
• Participated in technical setup of Agile Hive in Jira (porting tickets, scripting)
• Scaled Agile certification or experience on team using it
• Experience providing training on Atlassian tools suite
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or software development in an agile environment.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and government enterprise IT environments is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership and technical teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Clearance:

• Requires an active Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
