Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or documentation roles, preferably supporting DoD or federal IT programs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience authoring technical documents and training materials for network infrastructure, cybersecurity, or telecommunications systems.
- Familiarity with large-scale modernization efforts and documentation required for Engineering, Furnishing, Installing, Securing, and Testing (EFIST).
- Strong knowledge of AP Stylebook or Chicago Manual of Style.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to interpret complex technical information and distill it for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting government contracts, especially within the USMC or Navy IT enterprise environment, is highly desired.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or currently hold a Secret security clearance. Must be U.S. Citizen.
