This position is part of a team that supports the USINDOPACOM Alpha contract. The Logistics Specialist will help to solve business challenges and perform a variety of duties requiring knowledge and skill in applying logistics management principles and techniques to meet logistics requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-value analysis of logistics information and support development of engagements, exercises and briefings for USINDOPACOM stakeholders.
  • Provide technical assistance with the management and execution of programs across governance/policy, IT enhanced supply support tools, and supply support.
  • Identifying operational use-cases for logistics enhancements
  • Assess and recommend emerging logistics tools and methodologies
  • Identify use-cases for logistics capabilities and enhancements
  • Coordinating access to critical logistics data
  • Maintain effective working relationships with the Government program managers

Qualifications

Skills/Qualification: The Logistics Specialist must bring multi-functional logistics experience in industrial supply chain management processes, product support analysis, maintenance, planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization and readiness to meet operational availability thresholds. Strong organizational and time management skills

 

Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

 

The following are desirable levels of experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in DoD in a planning, operations or logistics related program

Work Location: Work is performed in Honolulu, HI.

 

Clearance:  Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

 

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
