Overview

Na Ali'i is seeking to hire a Technology Specialist II to work as a member of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Technology Directorate (ITD) Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Tech Refresh Technical Implementation Team. A successful candidate will be responsive, have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), be a team player, promote consensus, embrace learning, and be a consummate problem solver. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the professionalism, timeliness, and quality of all technical implementation teams
  • Working as a team member to implement IT equipment tech refreshes, equipment dispositions, and inventory assets for future state architecture diagrams
  • Supporting Technical Team Lead with the creation of a full-scale project plan and ensuring the project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all tasks assigned under this project
  • Supporting the overall implementation and execution of the Program Management Plan and IT equipment Tech Refresh project schedule, to include managing all human, logistics, and technical/ tool resources for project execution
  • Supporting the implementation of all equipment disposition requirements to include pricing and creating shipping labels and preparing, packaging, sealing, and addressing as required in accordance with DoD, DARPA instructions, Industrial Security policies and other policies and guidance provided by Defense Security Service
  • Providing data and metrics regarding project progress, ensuring timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency
  • Providing inventory and asset management support for IT assets and existing inventory within ITD’s network areas of responsibility

Qualifications

Education and Experience: This position prefers a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.  A minimum of 4 years of professional experience within the DoD and an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I Certification.  

 

Skills/Qualifications: Must have proven organizational skills, self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills. Computer competency is mandatory for this position.

 

Clearance Requirements: Applicant must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination. Must be a U.S. Citizen. 

 

Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel to Government Installations up to 50% of the time. The place of performance can consist of 347 sites across 39 CONUS states plus one OCONUS state (Hawaii). 

 

Work Location: Core work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, arriving no earlier than 6:30 AM and departing no later than 6:30 PM Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed.

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Frequently lift and/or move parts up to 40lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move parts up to 50lbs 
  • Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for many continuous working hours 
  • Frequently use arms, hands, and fingers to grasp and move network equipment 
  • Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach overhead when moving network equipment

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,00.00 to $110,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
