Overview

Na Ali'i is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to conduct and manage contract operations for one of The Nakupuna Companies’ several business lines.

  • Full spectrum contract management support for one of Nakupuna’s Lines of Business
  • Responsible for managing workload for 1 – 2 direct report staff members supporting the same business line
  • Advise program teams on risks and contractual issues
  • Assist with detecting and mitigating organizational conflicts of interest
  • Oversee procurement timelines for purchases under your assigned contracts
  • Attend or support meetings with customer as needed, to include contract kick-off meetings
  • Prepare formal notices and correspondence with customers
  • Prepare for contract closeout at contract conclusion
  • Support Bid and Proposal team by providing contract analysis and review of solicitations and bids
  • Minimal travel may be required for this role

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: Leadership, People Management, Project Management, Requirements Analysis, Strategic Planning, Self-Motivated and Self-Monitoring, Exceptional Oral and Written Communications, Technical Expertise, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

 

  Education and Experience:

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of professional experience with contracts management in the federal market
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and Public Law
  • Experience with Costpoint/CMS is desired.

  Certification: CFCM or CPCM certification is preferred.

 

Clearance: Not required but must be able to obtain security clearance, if requested. Must be a U.S. citizen.

 

Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements.

  • Ability to lift or carry objects up to 25 pounds without
  • Ability to use stairs and or walk at an incline without
  • Ability to perform repetitive or forceful motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers including frequent bending, raising arms, twisting, and bending neck.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk, working on a
  • Ability to lift, carry, reach (above chest or below knee), kneel, crouch, twist, bend and climb a step stool/ladder (items may include but are not limited to supplies and other materials).
